Tamara Schiltz
Tamara Schiltz has considered herself an artist since she was a child. Her creativity is inspired by her family, riding her horses, planting, and painting. Horses have a big impact on her creative process. Although horses are her favorite subject of choice she also is influenced by sunsets and the landscape of New Mexico. Tamara believes that her art should be lived through her inner child and is the only place her playfulness and innocent joy can thrive. She paints very vivid and colorful scenes of horses and New Mexico landscapes. The paintings have a light and playful childlike feeling of shapes and colors. Forms of shadow and light are represented in blocks of vibrant colors. Through organic shapes and symbolic forms the works evolve to represent simplicity and playful energy.
